Beuford “Beau” Tindal




Beuford “Beau” Elwin Tindal passed away at his daughters’ home, surrounded by his family, November 29, 2008 at 5:57 pm at the age of 73 after a long battle with cancer.  He was born on April 4, 1935 in Randlett, Oklahoma and grew up in Madera, California, graduating from Madera High School with the class of 1953.  He served in the U. S. Navy from April 1953 to March 1957, and then received his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo in June 1961. He had a long and distinguished career in management within a number of prominent electronics and computer businesses. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer William Tindal, his mother Clara León Marsh Tindal, and two sisters, Doris Janelle Ward and May Jean Garrison. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Wilma Jean “Jeanne” Russell Tindal of Missouri, two sons Michael Paul Tindal of  Missouri and Larry Dean Tindal and wife Paulla of  Montana, one daughter, Donna Michelle Tindal Barnett of  Missouri and eight grandchildren, Jamie Nicole Barnett, Jessica Lynn Barnett, Ian Michael Tindal, Alexia Jean Tindal, Kyle Allen Tindal, Andrew Mackenzie Tindal, Zachariah Beau Tindal, William Robert Tindal, four siblings, Elmer Ray Tindal and wife Christine of Visalia, CA,  Juanita Ward and husband Mark of Clovis, CA, Elmer Edwin Tindal and wife Linda of Madera, CA, and Larry Dale Tindal and wife Wanda of Orland, CA  as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.   In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network at www.bcan.org.

    We’re very sorry to hear about Mr. Tindal’s passing, but we’re relieved he is no longer suffering. He had a very remarkable life and he will be missed. We will keep the whole family in our prayers.
