Beverly Gudausky

Beverly Gudausky, age 69, of New Bloomfield, MO (formerly of Taylorville, IL) departed this life on her last journey to meet her Lord and Savior on April 23, 2014. Beverly was born June 14, 1944 to the late James Russell and Bessie (Bateman) Young in White Hall, IL. Her family moved to Taylorville, IL where she was raised and lived for the majority of her life. She married Barney Wayne Furgeson and two daughters were born. They divorced after 17 years. Beverly got remarried to Stanley Gudausky. They were married 14 years. She was employed at Pamida in Taylorville for 15 years before retiring. In 1998, Beverly moved to New Bloomfield, MO where she became a member of the New Bloomfield United Methodist Church. She was active in her church serving as the Vice President of the United Methodist Women’s Group. She also served on the Pastor Parish Relations Committee and the Parsonage Committee. She enjoyed traveling, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, quilting and playing cards. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Beverly leaves behind two daughters: DeEtta Gatton (Chris) of Elkland, MO; Tracy Gatton (Philip) of New Bloomfield, MO; a sister, Linda Budds (Ed) of Austin, TX; Four grandchildren: Cory Furgeson, Chaynna Gatton, Jordon Gatton and Akia Gatton: Four great-grandchildren: Willie Gatton, Whitley Gatton, Wyatt Gatton and Logan Kelsey. A celebration of life will be held at the New Bloomfield United Methodist Church on May 3, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Beverly’s name to the Central Missouri Kidney Association c/o Karen Farnam LMSW 1916 Boggs Creek Rd. Jefferson City MO 65101.     Tracy and family, we are so sorry for the loss of your Mom and our friend. She was a great gal. We miss her very much but want you to know she was a kind woman with many, many friends. I know she is now in Heaven with her Heavenly Father. God bless you all!
