Beverly Palmer

Beverly J. Palmer, 79, died June 25, 2006 at the Kansas City Hospice House after a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by the emotional and spiritual support of her family. Beverly was born June 23rd, 1927, in Galesburg, Illinois. She was the daughter of Eldora and Albert Pittman. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1945 and attended Brown Business College. Her first husband, Jack Olson, died in an automobile accident. In 1957, she married the love of her life, John W. Palmer. They enjoyed nearly fifty years together. Beverly had a successful career in the Kansas City real estate market, and was an active and outgoing member of the community. She had many friends and an avid interest in antiques. She is survived by her husband, John Palmer. She also leaves a son and a daughter-in-law, Bruce and Jackie Palmer, a daughter, Julie Dayani, two grandsons, Nathan Dayani and Cyrus Dayani, and a beloved cousin, Janet Tabone, Janet’s family, and others. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all of those whose life she touched. A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5th, at St. Francis Xavier Church, 52nd and Troost, Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64145.
