Billie Edward Mohler, age 86, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 18th, 2026 at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City, Missouri. Bill was born on August 21, 1940 in Kansas City, Kansas to William Henry Mohler and Belva Eloris Mohler (Patton) Wilkins Clark.
Bill worked as a Welder at Deffenbaugh Industries and Iron Worker at Armco Steel in Kansas City, Missouri. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Shirley Ann Mohler (Lawson), age 81, born on May 1, 1940, born to Clyde Ray Lawson and Getrude Bell Lawson (Long). Shirley passed away on March 14, 2022 in their home in Houston, Texas.
Bill and Shirley were married on April 24, 1958. Our parents were the true meaning of love, laughter and living life to the fullest. They gazed into each other’s eyes until the day Shirley was called to heaven to be our angel. It was a gaze like no other! Bill and Shirley were married for 63 years and together for 67 years.
Bill and Shirley are survived by their 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild: son, Glenn Charles Mohler of Houston, Texas, wife Vicki and Glenn’s daughter, Taylor Joyce Mohler of Arlington, Texas; daughter, Ginger Ann Flaugher of Galt, Missouri, Ginger’s sons Johnnie Ray Flaugher III and Billie Flaugher, of Independence, Missouri; Johnnie’s children Zacery Kaber and Maya Flaugher, Johnnie’s grandchild from Zacery, Kayden Kaber and Billie’s son Brayden Flaugher; daughter and caregiver, Gina Louise Mohler of Blue Springs, Missouri, Gina’s son, Joseph Edward Mohler, wife, Jenna Rose Mohler and their 2 children Adalynn Eloise Mohler and Greyson Joseph Mohler of Freehold, New Jersey and Gina’s daughter Samantha Jo Lang, husband Maurice Lang and their son Eli Lang of Blue Springs, Missouri.

So sorry for your loss Glen and Gina my prayers are with you. Bill was a great man and one hell of a teacher of life
