Bob L. Clymer, 88, of Independence, Missouri passed away suddenly August 24, 2018, in his home. Memorial services will be held at 10am, Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 409 N. Liberty Street, Independence, MO 64050. Mr. Clymer was born October 7, 1929, in Greenfield, TN.
Bob spent his entire career as a civil engineer. He retired at age 78 after almost 50 years with HNTB in Kansas City where he designed some of America’s most impressive bridges.
Bob’s survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary Clymer; his brother, Edward Clymer of Nashville, TN; and his three children, Elizabeth Hare of Buckner, MO, Patricia Rudy of Platte City, MO, and John Clymer of Moultonborough, NH. Bob also had 11 beloved grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Trinity Episcopal Church of Independence in lieu of flowers.
