Bonnie S. Payton, 82, of Centerview, Missouri passed away April 31st, 2016 in Warrensburg, Missouri. Memorial services will be help at 1pm, Saturday, April 9th, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church, Holden, Missouri. Visitation will be held at 12:45pm, April 9th, 2016 at Friendship Baptist. Ms. Payton was born March 12th, 1934 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Bonnie had a love for Jesus Christ, her family, pets, and friends. She enjoyed working with the disabled and the developmentally challenged. She lovingly gave of herself to others. Her family received numerous comments on how special she was.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Granvil and Maudie Smith; her aunt, Edna Webb and her husband Slim; her uncles, Leslie Crook, Lawrence Crook and wife Esther Crook. Survivors include her son, Greg Ballowe and wife Carla; her brother, Gerald Smith and wife Rosemary; her brother, John M. Smith; her nephew, John T. Smith and wife Sharon and their children Elizabeth, Connor, and Sara; and grandchildren, Ann Marie Ballowe, Chris Ballowe, Keisha Lewis, Jared Ballowe, Anthony Ballowe, and Reno Ballowe.
Memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church Community Fund.
