Dear Adrienne and the whole Chandler family, it’s just hard to express the sadness I feel in hearing that Brenda is gone. It brings back so many childhood memories of all the fun we had when all the cousins got together. Every single cousin was a beautiful, kind soul who loved our family. We’ve all gone our separate ways and done various things with our lives, but I know that we’ve never forgotten the bond we have as cousins, or the love we have for family. Brenda always demonstrated that love for family, every time I saw her, which was not enough… butI always knew how much she genuinely cared about us. A beautiful soul, I pray that she is happy and joyful now, rejoicing to seeTim, Aunt Norma, Uncle Arkie, and Bruce. God bless and comfort you all. I love you Brenda!

I lived 2 doors from the Chandlers in the 70’s. I now live across the street from Lane in Lees Summit. Brenda was always the life of the party, whether just hanging out or causing havoc with me on the block. Such a shame that we lost such a great, genuine person, so young. My heart goes out to your family. If you need anything, please let me know.

I also just remembered that my oldest daughter was friends with Brenda’s daughter in school. She will be very sad to hear her friend, Adrienne lost her mother so young. Condolences to you all.

I love you Brenda. I’m sorry we couldn’t see more of each other over the past few decades, but I will always cherish the memories we shared as kids, cousins, whenever we were able to get together at family reunions and such. You’re love was always deep and genuine, and yes, you were the goofy and fun one in our family. I will miss you dearly, but I know you are with our Father (and your mom and dad and Bruce!) and are happy to be having that reunion. Prayers for the rest of your family as we all feel our loss.

    Brenda,

Girl I went by your house today and I noticed you weren’t there. My heart told me that something wasn’t right, so I googled you and I learned of your passing. My heart is heavy as you know we had some memorable times. The funny thing that I remembered was when we met and we discovered we shared the same nickname “Bren” it was funny to call each other “Bren”. My faith in the lord let’s me know you are in a happier place. May God continue to bless your family. -Love Bren
