Brenda Kay Turner

Brenda Kay Turner, 56, of Jefferson City, MO formerly of Sedalia went to be with our Lord on March 14th, 2020. She passed away at Capital Regional Medical Center. Brenda was born July 3rd, 1963 at Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Noster, MO to James and Thelma (Sue) Turner.
She was a dedicated employee for Inter-State Studio & Publishing for over 30 years. She spent the last few years taking care of her mother & the love of her life.

Brenda was full of life and her life will shine on because of her selflessness of being an organ donor. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and belonged to the Sedalia Moose Lodge. Brenda enjoyed her time playing Bingo and being an active Moose member. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Brenda touched many lives with her giving heart and a smile that stayed with every person who entered her life. She excelled at finding humor in life and the good in all things. Brenda was an angel on Earth and now an angel in Heaven.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and niece Stacey Reynolds. She is survived by the love of her life, Timothy Ross, her sister Pamela (Robert) Warren of Columbia, MO, Vicky Reynolds and brothers Ricky (Melissa) Turner and James Turner of Sedalia, MO. Also, nieces Jessica (Jose) Almanza, Sabrina (Joseph) Bishop, Samantha (Robert) Warren-Cook, Chelsea Turner, Sarah (Jae) Kim, Laura Turner, Gracie (Michael) Haugen and nephews Jeremiah Reynolds, James Turner Jr., James Warren and many great nieces and nephews.

Thinking of Brenda, I smile with tears remembering our sister bond and adventures from 4th grade onward! It didnā€™t matter if we didnā€™t talk or see each other every day, week, or months – because when we did get together or talked- we didnā€™t miss a beat.
Sassy, oh goodness she was!! and I loved her sense of humor and directness! We had tons of great laughs to which I will dearly miss.
Brenda would give you the world if she could. She was a very giving and loving lady who enjoyed and loved her family, Tim and friends.
God called her home too soon, but it gives me some peace knowing that she is with her mom and dad in heaven. She will always be in my heart and forever missed.

Brenda was part of the family and we loved her. Most importantly she loved Tim. She took great care of Tim, and was his best friend. She would not want you to be sad because she is gone, she would want you to be happy that she lives.
Healing thoughts and prayers for Tim and Brenda ā€˜and their families. She is in our hearts and never forgotten.
