Brian Williams, 52, of Westwood, Kan., died at Kansas University Medical Center on April 13, 2008, following a hard fought battle with cancer. Born Feb. 16, 1956, and raised in Brownsville, Texas, Brian was a graduate of the University of Texas. He worked for GE Insurance Solutions in Mission, Kan. He is survived by his loving companion of 14 years, Diana Ennis of Westwood, and mother, Joyce Williams of Brownsville. Brian’s wishes were to be cremated and his remains scattered "off the jettys" of South Padre Island. He will be greatly missed by his friends at The Clarette Club and his co-workers at GE. Texas Memorial Service is to be held at the Church of the Advent, 104 W. Elizabeth, Brownsville, TX 78520, Monday, April 21, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alter Guild Fund at the Church of the Advent. Memorial service plans for Kansas City area friends are pending.
