Brian Kent Hutcherson, 85, of Columbia passed away April 18, 2014 at Loch Haven Nursing Home. Brian was born on June 2, 1928 in Clarence, MO to the late Lloyd and Dora (Simpson) Hutcherson. Brian proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Hutcherson is survived by many loving friends and family members.

I was reading the Columbia Tribune, and saw that your family just experience the lost of a loved one, Brian Hutcherson. I wanted to send my condolences to your family. A scripture that always comforts me during these difficult times is Revelation 21:4. It says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. This scripture brings out that pain, sickness, and death will be done away with. I really hope that this brings you comfort.

My mother Betty ( Dennis) Hockaday passed away on April 14, 2014 in East Moline, Il. My mother talked about Brain all the time, they grew up together. Betty was the daughter of Clarence & Mary Dennis. I’m Betty daughter. My deepest condolences to his family. It,s so odd they would die so close together. I heard wonderful story about them growing up together.
