    Tammy, Jim and family,

I’m so grateful for my friendship with Brittany. More then that I will eternally be grateful for the example Brittany was. She was a wonderful mother. She was a genuine friend. And never once had I heard her complain about the hardship she was facing. Instead she humbly cared for others and continued to have a smile on her face. I will constantly remember that laugh of hers! Riley, your mama loved you so much. She adored you. Her legacy lives on with your life. You always will have her with you. Love you Tammy & Mike & family.

Mike, Tammy, Nate, and my little buddy Riley,

Words don’t do justice to the pain. I will make sure my bag of mulch is gone so Brittany doesn’t fret over it in heaven. I loved our Romeo and Juliet talks and her colorfully blunt way of putting things. I love you all and don’t forget to tell each other that every f—ing day

    I will miss her

Mike and Tammy I just realized in you sending me that obituary that Brittany and I actually didn’t really have a relationship till we shared the road of cancer. In all that pain I gained a wonderful friend and got to know and love her so much.
So I guess that god blessed me with that.
    Love to you all.

Its hard to put into words how sad I feel for your loss. I won’t begin to try. My thoughts on Brittany for the short time I knew her, Sassy, Sweet, Stubborn, Mad, Scared, Accepting, Caring, Loving. I’m angry she had to leave so early. Its part of this job as an oncology nurse that saddens me deeply. I know she is at peace. I will always remember her. Riley your momma will always love you. She’s your angel now.

    Tammy and Mike

Although we never met Brittney we know what a very special woman she was. It came through in the way you talked about her. Brittney’s life was cut short but she was blessed to have such loving parents in her life as much as you were blessed to have her in yours.

    Mike, Tammy, Nate and Carolyn:
Words are never enough to convey our truest, deepest emotions at a time like this. We’ve watched Brittany transform through the years from a teenager, to a cancer patient, to a mother, and now to an angel. She did each with a style unique and true to herself. She always did things in her way, in her time…..something we all should strive for. We are blessed to have known her and to have been there to watch her courageousness in tackling all that life presented her with. I hope you are comforted in knowing that we are all better people by having known your strong, passionate, determined, uncompromising, beautiful daughter! Greg, Melanie, Kyle and Ally

I have never met a stronger woman than Brittany. She was a fighter with a beautiful smile and she made a joke out of anything and everything. Of course I admire her amazing sense of style and her talent to record her life with her family in her scrapbooks. She had an amazing outlook in the toughest of situations. She will always be one of my hero’s. She was a wonderful mom, daughter, sister and person. All my love to her family. Riley…. your Mom is a hero! I know that you are and will be very proud of her. She was a legacy to be loved, cherished and remembered.

  18. Tammy Poirier on April 30, 2015 at 3:27 pm

May God wrap his arms around you all at this very difficult time in your life. I will never forget that little girl with the huge smile. Britt was such a fighter and went through so much in her short time here on earth with us, but she is now making a beautiful angel, and is no longer in pain. Riley is a very lucky little girl to have such a strong family to stand by her and give her a life that her beautiful Momma so wanted for her. I will continue to pray for peace & strength for you all.
