Cal Leon Mitchell

Cal Leon Mitchell, 68, died 4:00PM on March 1, 2017 in his home in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife and children by his side. Leon was born March 15, 1948 in Kiowa, Oklahoma. He was the son of Jack (Woody) Mitchell and Viola Lambert Mitchell. He graduated from Kiowa High School and became a general contractor. Leon is survived by his wife Marcia Mitchell, his five children, Barry Mitchell, Cindy Tharpe, Cal Shane Mitchell, Charli Jane Conrad and her husband Travis Conrad, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters Susie Haile, Shirley Shannon and her husband Doy, his brother Clarence Mitchell and his wife Nancy Mitchell. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, Jack and Viola Mitchell, he was preceded in death by his brother Jackie Mitchell and his sisters Elois Miener Mitchell and Juanita Griffin-Mitchell. Burial will be at Kiowa Cemetery , Kiowa, Oklahoma.
