Calvin Delmer Dickhaut

With sadness in our hearts, we share the passing of Calvin Delmer Dickhaut, age 84, who passed away on October 15, 2026, in Fulton, Missouri.

Calvin was born on July 18, 1942, in McClusky, North Dakota, to Reuben and Lea Heitzmann Dickhaut. He grew up on the family farm, where his lifelong love of farming began. He worked as a plumber for many years, but he was always a farmer at heart. Camping with his family and friends was also an important part of his life.

A lifelong member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Calvin lived out his faith through service to others. He generously shared his time and skills and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Christine Schrader Dickhaut; his four children, Sandra (Steven) Blackburn, Pamela (Peter) Sutter, Jeffrey Dickhaut, and Jeremy (Christina) Dickhaut; his six grandchildren, John Calvin Bradlee Dickhaut (fiancée Rebecca), Jeremy Thaddeus Dickhaut, Josiah Chadwick Dickhaut (Samantha), Nathaniel Blackburn, Christiana Blackburn (fiancé Matthew) and Jonathan Blackburn; and his great-granddaughter, Felicity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Lea Heitzmann Dickhaut, and his brothers, Leroy and Roger Dickhaut.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at College Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1100 College Park Drive, Columbia, Missouri.
