Carl was taken far too quick before most people could grasp what had happened. I only met him a couple of times but, he was as sweet as they come. He’s in a better place now. I hope he can put in a good word for the rest of us. He will live on for a long time in all the lives he will save. Rest in peace Carl, you’ve earned it.

I was blessed to have my Uncle live a block away when I was growing up
As I think back over the years and remember all the memories it’s great
It’s a shock to know he is gone at such a young age however our Lord controls all and there is a purpose to all things although I don’t know what or why I know that the Lord will use this to help someone or touch someone’s life
THANK YOU ALL for sharing your thoughts and memories of my Uncle truly one of a kind and I miss him

Carl, I knew you for around 20 years but we were never close. I did think about you and always wished the very best for you. I knew you had a good heart just like Kevin and James. This is still a shock. But you’re in a better place with the Lord whom you always loved. Spread those wings and fly. I know your Momma was there to welcome you home. A special place will be in my heart for you.

I think about the times we use to play in the woods together, re-creating Star Trek characters you playing Captain Kirk and I Spock. Making phasers out of tree branches. You was my childhood best friend with memories that will never be replaced. When I went to the military we grew apart, running across each others path on a couple occasions but never having the time to continue to keep in touch.
I pray you are at peace now and God will be watching over you until we see each other again.
