My husband Jerry and I became friends with Carla when she worked for the post office and Jerry ran mail from the mail center. She was such a loving person. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers go up for her family and friends.

Hi Mike, it’s Dick Muzzy emailing from Colorado to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I never had the pleasure of meeting your wife, but wish I had. She sounded like a very special person! Will look forward to seeing you on the golf course soon.

Elena worked with her longer; i only had the joy of working with Carla for a decade. Carla is such an amazing example of what Christians are called to be. She always had an encouraging word and kind smile; but mostly, you could tell she genuinely wanted the very best for all. Exactly how our Redeemer says others will know we are Christians. If each of us could be like Carla is like Christ–what a wonderful world this would be!! Mike, i was very encouraged when you and Carla married…you and Carla made a perfect couple. May your Savior comfort you during this difficult time.
