Carol A. (Schoelen) Coats entered into eternal rest March 25, 2019. Beloved mother of the late Helen M (Robert) Wischerath, Steven C and Mark C (Rugeania); Devoted grandmother to Matthew, Megan and Lauren Wischerath, Chris (Brittany) Coats and Vicki (Anthony Krug) Coats; great grandmother to Maverick Coats and Meredith Krug. A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. with a memorial service following at 11:00 A.M. Arrangements Heartland Cremation & Burial Society.

I am so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. I worked with her at the Security Financial office in Lees Summit, MO. I was her processing assistant and enjoyed our friendship and interactions. She reminded me of my mom and I felt an immediate closeness to her.
We would sometimes try to meet for lunch, Carol, Lucy, Judy and I ..sometimes with Monte, too. It had been quite a while since she felt up to joining us, but I always thought I would get to come “next time”.
I want to extend my sympathies toward all of you in her loving family. Sincerely.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just learned today upon return of my Christmas card to Carol. We had exchanged cards since working together @ Regional Investment Co. I hadn’t seen her for nearly 20 yrs, but still considered her my friend. She was a great lady (& a big George Strait fan!). My deepest sympathy to all.
