Carol Jeanette Eggeman Kirbyson was born May 5, 1964 in Kansas City, Kansas to Roy Richard Eggeman and Winnie Jewel Mahurin. Carol passed away in her sleep on September 10, 2024.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Roy Richard Eggeman. She is survived by: mother, Winnie Jewel Nead; stepfather, Charles Edward Nead; sisters, Marla Jane Converse (Gary) and Brenda June Bertram; nieces and nephews, Gary Russell Converse II (Kadi), Audrey Kay Converse, Shawn Franklin Bertram and Tabitha June Bertram; two great-nephews, Jacob Russell McDowell and Grayson Converse McDowell.
Carol attended East High School in Kansas City and received a degree in Criminal Justice. She loved music and played both piano and clarinet. She worked in the restaurant industry for 38 years.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Kansas City Church, 7700 Church Road, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service at 10:00am.
I’m very sorry for the families loss. Carol and I grew up together. Jewel, helped to raise me and I’m so thankful for the years we had like family.
