Carol so hard to see your face and know that I will never see or speak with you again. I know that you are now in a better place and are with your God . I’m sure the whole gang was there to meet you with open arms. Mom, Grandma and Grandpa Searles and Grandma Jones and of course Tom. Tom loved you and you were always so good to him even when I would tell you he was driving me crazy. You always stood up for him and then would bring him coffee for his Birthday. lol I used to envy you your talent for putting things together with just a little bit of nothing and make it look like it cost a lot of money. You got that from Mom and I got left out . Now if you needed something put up or painted or taken apart I could do that for you and did so when you needed it.
I will always remember you in my heart and I know through the grace of God I you, Mom, & Tom will be there to greet me when it is time for me to go. So many things I want to say to you but can’t now. Guess it will have to wait,. Just know that no matter how mad we could get at each other that you are and have always been my Big Sister. I love you, Georgia

This is a very sad time for those who know and loved Carol. We became friends in grade school at Chapel Elementary in Raytown. Throughout our school years we shared many wonderful memories…especially with our “group of five”. (Carol, Pam, Karen, Kathy and Linda). After Kathy passed away we lost touch with each other. We reunited at our 50th highschool reunion, RHS’65, and vowed to keep each other in our life’s. Carol was an awesome friend from the start, very caring and one who would do anything for you! She was known for her little gifts and generous ways. And yes, she was well put together even in grade school! We were blessed to have Carol in our lives again. We will miss her dearly.
