Carol Jean Pastoret, 80, of Columbia, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Boone Hospital Center following a brief illness. Carol was born December 24, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James of the home, three daughters, Pamela Pastoret of Portland, OR, Polly Musacchia of Fargo, ND and Susan Pastoret of St. Louis, MO, one son, Peter Pastoret of Columbia, Mo. and seven grandchaildren. Carol was a retired Public Health nurse for the City of Columbia and was active in teaching Elderhostel at the YMCA of the Ozarks in Potosi, Mo. with her husband Jim until the time of her death. No services are planned.
I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Carol and I served on the PP board together, then later we were in an investment club. I was very, very fond of her!
Wonderful lady who will be greatly missed.
