Carol SUSIE Facklam passed away peacefully on September 15 surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a very beloved sister whose kind heart, adventurous spirit, and boundless love touched everyone she met.
Susie lived life with joyful curiosity and an active spirit. She had a deep, unwavering love for her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren, sharing her humor and hugs. She embraced every moment with gratitude and joy, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, exploring new activities and travels, and following the Mizzou Tigers.
A lifelong learner and a people-person, she made friends everywhere she went and found delight in life’s simple pleasures.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, curiosity, and kindness that will live on through all who had the blessing of knowing her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
