Carolyn S Bradbury

Carolyn S Bradbury of Raytown passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26. She was born on December 10, 1942, in Independence, MO to Gene and Mary Martin.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bradbury; two brothers Michael and Jerry Martin, and sister Linda Honeycutt.
‍Carolyn is survived by family members, including her daughter Rebecca Carter of Kansas City; son James R. Bradbury of Castle Rock, CO; and sister Sharon Schroer of Raytown, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and many family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

‍Carolyn was known as a strong and determined woman that liked to get things done – especially when it came to helping her family and friends. A true family matriarch, she was always there to offer advice, to console, or to provide some tough love when necessary. She especially enjoyed family get-togethers and the holidays for which she always went the extra mile and spared no expense. Her passing will leave a void that will be felt by everyone that knew her.

In her honor, let us remember the past with gratitude, live the present with great enthusiasm, and embrace the future with confidence.
A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at a date and time to be determined.
