Catherine Settle passed away at home in Fayette, Missouri, on Friday, May 15, 2026. She was 97 years old.
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Catherine lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. She and her beloved husband, Rev. Philip “Phil” Settle, shared a devoted Christian marriage and raised their children, Cathy, Phyllis, and Bill.
Catherine was a cherished school secretary, preacher’s wife, gardener, friend, and servant of Christ. She was preceded in death by Phil, Phyllis, and great-granddaughter McKenna. She is survived by her loving family, including four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Her legacy of kindness, faith, and love lives on through her family and all who knew her.
A memorial service honoring Catherine’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, at Grace Fellowship Church, south of Fayette.
