Charles C. Tillman was born March 17, 1947 to the union of Floretta and Charles C. Tillman, Sr. in Kansas City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by both parents, one sister, Shirley Oliver, one brother, Ernest Tillman, and daughter, Marsha Thrash.
He accepted God at an early age. He loved to watch Joel Osteen every Sunday on TV.
Charles worked at Kresge Store for years and also Gilan Boilers of Pontiac. He also spent time as a cook at Arthur Bryant’s.
Charles enjoyed cooking and playing darts and cards with family and friends. He loved to go play at the casino. Charles watched WWE wrestling on TV and liked listening to the blues.
Charles was the first born of six siblings; three brothers, Gene Tillman, Louis Tillman, and Ernest Tillman, and two sisters Ernestine Tillman and Shirley Oliver.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his lovely wife, Jacquelyn Tillman, of Shawnee, Kansas, whom he married in 2006; one son, Andre Tillman (Renee’) of Kansas City, Missouri; four daughters, Jaquetta (Al) of Independence, Missouri, Anita Davis (Bobby) of Irving, Texas, Pamela Asonye of Plano, Texas, and Traci Jones of Shawnee, Kansas; sister-in-law, Lillie Logan; nieces, Tanice Logan of Kansas City, Missouri and Diane Booker of Plano, TX.. He also leaves a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, other nieces and nephews, friends, and family.
