Charles David Bradshaw, 67, passed away on February 9, 2025, in Raytown, Missouri.
Born on April 14, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, he lived a life marked by curiosity, dedication, and kindness.
David had a wide range of personal and professional passions.
Throughout his career he managed several well-known restaurants, including Perkins, Tippins, Roxy’s Diner and Chi Chi’s. His leadership and commitment to the hospitality industry left a lasting impression on colleagues and patrons alike. He had a passion for cooking and took great pleasure in preparing meals for those around him.
David had an insatiable curiosity and a love for learning and sharing his discoveries. He found joy in fishing and gardening, often spending time outdoors appreciating nature’s beauty. His fascination with animals, exotic and domestic, reflected his adventurous and generous spirit, often adopting pets in need of special care. His talent for building computers showcased his technical skills. Motorcycling and classic automobiles were among his other interests, embodying his appreciation for craftsmanship and adventure.
David was a devoted caretaker to his stepfather and his mother, providing care and support for ten years. His infectious joy, kindness and dedication to family were evident in the way he looked after those he loved. As an ordained Elder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, faith played an important and substantial role in his life.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 35 years, Pamela Jean Bradshaw, his mother, Patricia Spears and his father, Charles Bradshaw. He will be deeply missed by his remaining siblings and extended family.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Haller, his son, Davey Bradshaw, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild, each the joy of his life.
David will be remembered for his many talents and the kindness and love he showed to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

I worked for Dave (who we teasingly referred to as Chuck) at Roxy’s Diner. He set me up with a man who would later become my first husband. He was kind and amazing and just SO MUCH FUN. He was like a cool second dad. I have nothing but fond memories of him. The world lost a great man. Only the good die young! See you when I get there, Chuck!
