Charles Monroe Brown, 76, of Fulton passed away April 30, 2008 at his home surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held Monday May 5, 2008 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO with the Rev. Tom Graddy officiating. Charles was born August 12, 1931 in Sedalia, Missouri to the late William and Emma (Newell) Brown. Charles is survived by seven sons, Timothy, Chuck, Mark, Todd, Kori, Chris and Tracy Brown; four daughters Teri Santarelli, Joni Brooks, Kelli O’Keefe, and Kami Lehman; one sister, Francis Guymon, one brother William Earl Brown Jr., as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Brown and one daughter Tobi Brown in infancy. added a KU logo.

I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories of the only Dad I ever knew…..He was a great Grandpa and Dad and a day doesn’t go by that I don’t miss him and Mom.

Grandpa Jared and I love and miss you very much and I always will remember the baseball bird as when I was little it was known as the cardinal bird my favorite.
Grandpa we will all miss and love you very much but Jericka reminded me one of our favorite things you always said to us was see this finger see this thumb see this fist you better run. that is what we will always remember all of us.
We love and miss you very much. But i will miss asking you for advise, and most of all the way we talked about sports together. I love you dad tell mom we all love and miss her very much. Rest in peace now and know you were loved by everyone.
Dad Chuck, I wish I had known you & Mom Shirley more but in the time we had it was an honor, a privilege and a pleasure to have known you both. I love you and Mom Shirley very much. Thank you for acknowledging and welcoming me.

Thank you for allowing me to marry your beautiful daughter Kelli, we had a good run. 21 years.
