Charles Brown

Charles Monroe Brown, 76, of Fulton passed away April 30, 2008 at his home surrounded by family.  A memorial service will be held Monday May 5, 2008 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO with the Rev. Tom Graddy officiating.  Charles was born August 12, 1931 in Sedalia, Missouri to the late William and Emma (Newell) Brown.  Charles is survived by seven sons, Timothy, Chuck, Mark, Todd, Kori, Chris and Tracy Brown; four daughters Teri Santarelli, Joni Brooks, Kelli O’Keefe, and Kami Lehman; one sister, Francis Guymon, one brother William Earl Brown Jr., as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Brown and one daughter Tobi Brown in infancy. added a KU logo.

    I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories of the only Dad I ever knew…..He was a great Grandpa and Dad and a day doesn’t go by that I don’t miss him and Mom.

    Thank You for trusting me to hold on to one of your prized possessions. You knew I would not let anything happen to it and I have not. Thank you for allowing me to marry your beautiful daughter Kelli, we had a good run. 21 years. I hope all of your pains of this world have left you forever, and may you find peace within the universe. Thanks for being a Dad when I needed one.
