Charles “Michael” McNeil Graham

Charles Graham, 89, of Raytown , MO. Passed away Jan.31, 2012.  A memorial service will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. in Raytown, at 3:00 – 5:00 on Friday, February 10th. Charles was born in Clinton, MO on June 23rd, 1922. He served his country in the Army Air Corp., 8th Division during WW II. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. On April 7th, 1951 he married Nancy Louise McKellar. Together they have one son, Charles (“Matt”) Graham. A life long resident of Raytown, Charles was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He loved to travel and was an avid reader. Charles had a great sense of humor and a warm personality. He loved meeting and visiting with people. He was proceeded in death by his parents, “Neil” and Irene Graham, his brother, Robert Graham and his nephew, Robert Graham, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, son, Charles (“Matt”), three grandchildren, Melony DeLouche, Heather Gent, and Jewell Menon, and four great-grandchildren.  He also has several nieces and a nephew. He will be remembered by all who knew him with great love and affection. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, 3637 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111-2503.  Fond memories and condolences can be left for the family at www.heartlandcremation.com.

    Nancy, I am so so sorry for your loss. I just found out about “Charlie’s” passing and want you to know how much I will miss seeing and talking with him. He will be much missed in the neighborhood and I can only imagine you will miss him. I will speak with you soon.
