Cherre Gene Bybee

Cherre Gene Bybee, 67, of Columbia, Missouri, was born in Odgen, Utah on August 5, 1953 and passed away peacefully on March 7, 2021 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Daughter of a military dad and married to a military man, Cherre lived out her dreams of visiting and living in faraway places, such as Iceland and Wales.  She herself felt called to serve and in 1981 Cherre enlisted into the U.S. Navy and served for four years, with duty stations in Honolulu, Hawaii and Pacific Beach, Washington.

She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Brown, and mother, Carmeta (Connie) Brown.  She is survived by the following: husband of 49 years, Rodney Bybee; daughter, Sally Bybee; two sisters, Arlene Kennedy and Tammy Haws.

I only met your mom a couple of times but I could tell she was a special lady. So adventurous, I am glad she got to go to so many special places with you and your dad. My prayers are with you.
