Cheryl (Dugan) Seymour

Cheryl had a gift for joy. She could become excited at the smallest spark – running into an old friend, hearing from one of her sisters who lived out of town, or simply finishing a task she set her mind to. Whether she had just painted her toenails or returned from a successful shopping trip, she believed life always offered a reason to celebrate.

Holidays and special occasions were her playground. Cheryl loved decorating her home for every season, with Valentine’s Day holding a special place in her heart. She never missed a birthday or anniversary, and she made sure everyone around her felt seen, loved, and celebrated.

Those who knew Cheryl will remember her as happy, smiling, and always in a good mood. She was a loving and caring mother, a devoted and joyful grandmother, and a perfect, endlessly entertaining wife. Her warmth filled every room, and her spirit made ordinary days feel special.

Cheryl’s legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the joy she spread so naturally, and the countless memories she created with those fortunate to know her. She will be missed but never forgotten.

My Aunt Cheryl was so beautiful and always put together, with her iconic hair style that ill never forget. She had such a beautiful smile and she laughed often. Even when we went long times without talking, we could always pick up where we left off. Talking to her was always so easy. She loved her family fiercely and was always so proud of them. Spending summers at her house, in the pool with my entire extended family, are some of my favorite memories! Along with Uncle Steve’s BBQ and a rotten poodle, lol. I love you AUNTIE and Im going to miss you so much! Until we meet again.

I will cherish always the great times Cheryl, Steve, David and I shared. The summer weekends lounging in the pool listening to amazing rock and roll and our occasional venture out to dinner were great, but the talks and the laughter we shared was the best! Forever in my heart sweet friend, give David a hug from me when you meet up in heaven❤️
