Cheryl was preceded in death by father, Clyde James Stangroom; mother, Sarah Jane Pearce Stangroom; grandmother, Ethel Pearce; and sisters, Carla Stangroom and Cathy Ann Stangroom.
Cheryl gave her life to Christ at an early age and she loved the Lord. She married Glenn E Morris Jr in 1974. In 1975, she gave birth to her only child, a daughter named Kelley Lynn Morris. She loved her daughter, loved the role of being a mother, and dedicated her life to her family.
She lived in Pennsylvania with her husband and daughter until 1986. She then moved to Kansas City where she lived for many years. In 1996, she divorced Glenn E. Morris Jr. and never remarried. She enjoyed living her best life. Her hobbies included: baking her famous cookies, playing bingo, talking with friends on the phone, going to church, and helping people in need.
