Christopher Lee McNeal, 43, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024. Visitation will be 10am, followed by a service at 11am, Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri 64133.
Chris was born and raised in the Kansas City metro area and attended Hickman Mills High School. He loved all things sports related especially KU Jayhawks basketball and KC Chiefs football.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Deborah McNeal.
He is survived by his three children: Callie McNeal, Peyton McNeal and Bailey McNeal of Raytown. He is also survived by his three siblings and a brother-in-law: Shaun McNeal of Higginsville; Brian McNeal of Independence; Amber and BJ Welsh of Independence; as well as four nephews: Jared and Brandon McNeal; and Zane and Connor Welsh; and two nieces Haley McNeal and Brooklyn Welsh. Chris also leaves behind a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.

So many great memories with Chris and frankly all of you guys growing up in our teenage years and into our 20s and continuing on. Chris was a great friend always thought of Him and Shaun as brothers to me. Chris was good at just about any sport, he picked up. Played lots of softball and basketball and football with him and many others. He was an all-around great guy and I will miss him greatly! My deepest, heartfelt condolences and prayers are with all of his family and friends.
Chris McNeal you will be very missed don’t understand why he must take you so young must of had something other for you now! Still in so much shock your gone man and very touching how you was taken hope you find your peace within love you cousin and tell everyone up there that I miss them as well! Sorry I couldn’t show to you funeral but I wish I could have been there but had no ride SORRY …..LOVE YOU
