Christopher Sims, 26, Raytown, Mo passed away May 4, 2017 from complications sustained in a house fire. A visitation will be held from 10 AM to Noon on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo 64133. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
Christopher was born July 12, 1990 in Ames, Iowa to Denise and Thomas Richard “Rick” Sims.
Chris was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother Denise, a sister Jennifer, and his son Jayden Thomas Sims of Butler, Missouri.
He attended Revere Academy and Longview Community College. He was employed by Land Air Express, as a forklift operator. Christopher enjoyed sales and marketing, jogging with his dogs at the lake, swimming, guitar, learning and speaking spanish, and gaming and video production. He will be remembered as loyal and dependable. He was determined, thoughtful, loveable, had a rich character and was full of wit and charm.
