Christopher Thomas Steinbach

Christopher T Steinbach, age 37 of Oak Grove MO passed away on June 10, 2021. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date to be determined. Memorial contributions to help the family cover expenses can be made on his Go Fund Me Page  or go to gofundme.com and search for Chris and Jennifer Steinbach.

Chris was born December 23, 1983 in Kansas City MO, to Tom and Debbie Steinbach.  The family lived in Grandview MO through Chris’ 6th grade year, and then moved to Holden MO where Chris officially became a Holden Eagle, running track and playing basketball.  Chris was a member of Enon Baptist Church and baptized on the Meramec River during a church float trip.

Chris was preceded in death by Pa and Grandma (Ron and Wanece) Steinbach, Grandma Sue and Grandpa Brian McCoach, Grandpa Dennis Jones, Uncle Randy Steinbach and “Uncle Mark Schneider”.

On September 19, 2009, Chris married the love of his life, Jennifer LaFleur.  They lived through the Oak Grove tornado virtually untouched and eagerly volunteered to assist tornado victims with clean-up and anything else needed. Shortly after the tornado Chris, Jeni, Quinton, Amelia and Oliva moved to their first house. The home involved many demo/reconstruction projects and Chris enjoyed the remodeling with the help of his dad, Tom and Jeni.

His passions were his family, food, and gardening. Any cause for celebration involved the family eating wonderful food he and Jeni prepared. His garden was prolific and a wide variety of quality produce were enjoyed. Chris and family enjoyed riding Jet Skies on Blue Springs Lake and grilling out or smoking protein.  Chris lived his life to the fullest, damn the consequences.

Chris leaves behind his wife Jennifer of 12 years, daughters Amelia and Olivia Steinbach, Aurora Goucher, step-son Quinton LaFleur, parents, Tom & Debbie Steinbach, Aunt Rhonda & Uncle David Toler, and Cousins Amanda, Nick (Kelly), Josh, Issac (Mel) and Chenoa.
