Clara C. Barnett, 92, of Atchison, KS passed away August 16, 2006 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Liberty, MO. She was born March 11, 1914, at Seneca, the daughter of Pearl and Bertha Davis. She graduated from Atchison in 1933. She was also a member of the First Christian Church in Atchison, KS. Clara spent most of her life working in hospitals and nursing homes. She was married to Roy B. Barnett who preceded her in death May 1984. Survivors include 8 children, Roy Barnett, Liberty, MO; Jean Green, Liberty, MO; Lorretta McEwen, Peoria, AZ; Robert Barnett, Monroe, VA; Richard Barnett, Shirley Sayles, Lyndon, KS; Dywayne Barnett, Monroa, VA; Steve Barnett, Atchison, KS. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Private family services are to be held. The family wishes to thank Regional Care Hospice for their wonderful care to Clara.
