Clarence Roseberry

Clarence (Chuck) Marvin Roseberry, 90, of Raytown, MO, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Kansas City Hospice House. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 25, 2008 at Raytown Christian Church, in Raytown, MO. Visitation will be held at 10:00 prior to service. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO. Mr. Roseberry was born December 6, 1917 in St. Joseph, MO. He worked for 46 years in the purchasing department Gas Service Company, taking four years off to serve in WWII. Following his retirement in 1982, he worked for the Raytown School District as a trip driver. He was a member of the Raytown Christian Church and Adam and Eve Sunday school class. He enjoyed driving the church bus to special events until he was 80 years old. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Florence Bernice Roseberry, daughters Pam Long and husband David Hug of Butler, MO; Peggy Ward of Lee’s Summit, MO; grandsons Robert Long and Steven Ward of Chicago, IL. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64145
