Clark V. Townsend

Clark V. Townsend, 71 of Garnder, KS passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024 after a short illness. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Clark was born in Patterson New Jersey, He worked as a master mechanic in auto repair shops in the Overland Park area. He inherited a love of gardening and nature from his mother and enjoyed weeding the garden and watching the pond turtles at his most recent residence at Vintage Park in Gardner.

Clark was preceded in death by mother and father Ada Townsend and Harvard Townsend and stepmother Joyce Townsend. Survivors include: sister, Joy (Ed); brother, Harvard (Dana); nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews; and his friends and the staff of Vintage Park.

The family wishes to thank the medical staff of Olathe Medical Center and especially the staff of Vintage Park for their care, compassion, and concern for Clark. Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of your choice.
