Clifton Lee Byant, 77, Indpendence, Missouri passed away May 21, 2017 at his home. A military service with honors will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
Clifton was born November 10, 1939 in Lexington, Missouri. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam era. Clifton worked for 35 years at Lake City Amunition Plant and retired in 1998.
He was preceded in death by; parents, Clifton Luther & Anna Mae Bryant and brother, Jimmy Bryant. Survivors include; daughter & son-in-law, Nellie & Ronnie Dickey, Indpendence, Missouri; daughter Sherri Bryant, Independence, Missouri; son & daughter-in-law, Clifton & Julie Bryant, Independence, Missouri; son, Britt Bryant, Lexington, Missouri; sister, Patsy McGuire, Texas; brother, George Bryant, Bates City, Missouri; sister, Linda Keller, Kansas City, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
