Cynthia Jean Althouse, 67 of Pleasant Hill, MO passed away on April 6, 2024, at Menorah Medical Center from respiratory issues.
Services for Cynthia will take place Thursday Aprill 11, 2024 at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO 64133. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Her Memorial Service will follow starting at 6:00 PM
Cynthia was born March 9, 1957, in Kansas City Missouri where she grew up with her parents and two sisters, they enjoyed family time together and trips to Long Shoal, Alabama. She graduated from Ruskin High School class of 75, she then married Steven Waller and had two sons Steve and Chris. Later in her life she met Jim Althouse and had one son Nate. She received her CNA license and spent most of her career in the nursing field. She enjoyed camping, watching movies and most of all spending time with her family laughing and enjoying their company.”
Cynthia was preceded in death by her father James Richard Bailey and her mother Joyce Louise Bailey, grandparents Ralph and Isabelle Finkland, aunt Judy Grimes and cousin John Grimes.
Survivors of Cynthia include her beloved husband James Althouse, her sister Debbie Taylor (Randy), Linda Lear (Tom) her sons Steven Waller (Theresa), Christopher Waller (Angela), Nathan Althouse, 5 grandchildren, Tierney, Anthony, Mallory, Mia, Hailey and 6 great grandchildren.
