Dale Franklin Stout

Dale Franklin Stout, 80, of Gallatin, Missouri passed away August 2, 2016. Mr. Stout was born March 7, 2936 in Rochester, Illinois.

Dale was the eldest of twelve children and grew up in rural south central Illinois, assisting with his fathers farm. In 1953, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. He received the National Defense and Good Conduct medals and an Honorable Discharge in 1957. In 1957 he married first to Helen Dennison. They had a daughter, Susan Louise (Stout) James.  Dale and Helen later parted ways in divorce. In 1965, Dale married Dorothea Hinkle who then parted ways in divorce in 1968. Dale later married Maureen Laughlin. To this union they had four children; Rebecca, Dale who passed in infancy, Dwayne, and Daniel Stout.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Helen Stout, his son, “Little Dale,” his wives Helen and Dorothea, his daughter Susan Louise (Stout) James, his sister Reverend Patsy Pickens and her son Flaggen Pickens, sisters Leona Odell and Iva Bisby, and twin brothers Larry and Jerry Stout as well as brother, Fred Stout.

Survivors include his companion Rhonda Lovewell, his children; Rebecca (Cliff) Harper of Howard Co, Dwayne (Lisa) Stout of Gallatin, Missouri, and Daniel Stout of Gallatin, Missouri, brothers; Dallas Stout, Jr (Roberta) of Pawnee, Illinois, Jim Stout of Pana, Illinois, sisters; Minnie (Sam) Powers of Crowder, Oklahoma, Connie (Mark) Harlan, and Martha (Harry) Courtney both of Pana, Illinois, and Maureen (Laughin) Larson, grandkids; Deanna Hepburn, Tonya (Hepburn) Grew, Cristina, Kali, Talon and Gabrielle Stout, Kassandria Stout, Shawna (Kayle) Hefley, Donovan, Cora, and Johnny Durk. There are also thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
