Dan was a great friend, a brother and we had good conversations about the Lord and family members and about how he was able to minister to people around the world.. I will miss him but I know we will be back together again.

My Father always said, if you know Jesus, you never die. You will live with our Savior forever in heaven. I will miss having you as my prayer partner, Dad. We always took everything to the throne. I love you very much, Dad.

Thanksgiving without you was hard this year. All of your kids were together, which would have made you so happy. Christmas will be even harder without you. I have missed you so much during football season this year. I always loved our football chats and all of your “predictions.” Nothing is the same. I miss you terribly. I love you. Until we meet again.

Dad, it’s almost too much to realize you’ve been gone a year today. I miss you. Your cabin is finished. Wish you were here to enjoy the lake. I love you. -CJ.
