Daniel Steffan

Daniel Steffan, 71, Independence, MO, stepped into glory, January 15, 2007 at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS, January 26, 2007 at 11 AM . Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Irene (Wapp) Steffan, an infant daughter, Monique, and his first wife Monique. He is survived by a sister, Dorothy Ridgewell of Independence, MO, two sons, Randall Robert Steffan, wife Theresa, Grandwiew, MO; and Steven Daniel Steffan, wife Kathryn, of Lake Lotawana, MO. Also surviving him are four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Daniel was a member of the Independence Eastview lions Club, The American Legion. Hunting, fishing, football, and NASCAR were his passions. He also enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family.
