Daniel Surface, 62, of California, Mo. passed away Monday, October 7, 2013, at his home. He was born July 13, 1951, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Clem and Frankie (Elgin) Surface. Survivors include his son: Troy Surface of Jefferson City, daughter: Athena Surface of Jefferson City, mother: Frankie Surface of Jefferson City; four sisters: Minnie (Gene) Kirwan of Jefferson City, Mo., Juanita (Ray) Woods of California, Mo., Verna (Gary) Clark of California, Mo., and Birdie McFeeters of Cole Camp, Mo.; 2 grandchildren: Caleb & Mya and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him deeply.
