Darnise Roberson, 62, Kansas City, Mo passed away February 8, 2021 at her home. Darnise was born June 23, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio to James E. Hawkins, and Ethel (McArthur) Hawkins. A visitation will be held 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo 64133, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM. Darnise graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked in the chemical manufacturing field for 11 years. She married Eugene Roberson in 1982, and they moved to Kansas City in 1991. She became a CNA in 2001.
She was a home-body, and the loves of her live were family and friends from Cleveland and Kansas City. Lastly, she LOVED shopping, after coming home from the hospital, before her passing, she was ordering items from QVC for her kitchen. She will be loved and missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her father James E. Hawkins, her mother and step-father Ethel and Hadley Murray,and brother Gregory Hawkins.
Darnise is survived by her husband Eugene Roberson, son Jeremy E. Hawkins, twin sister Denise Hawkins, and half sister Cathy Thomas.

My deepest condolences to the family. My heart aches , our hearts are going to hurt along time we have lost someone who loved us like no other. Jeremy and Eugene (Guy) y’all treated Girlfiend like a Queen on earth , she wearing a new crown now, she has receive the crown of life. Our Queen will suffer no more . She fought a good fight . Her soul is at peace . I have been extremely blessed to have her has my girlfriend, We have a Angel we about to receive blessings on top of blessings. I am praying God wraps his loving arms y’all at this difficult time , I pray that God will grant you the serenity and peace that you need to get through this .

My deepest condolences to Eugene, Jeremy and Denise. I just found out today so sorry to hear of your great lost. At times like this everyone is powerless to give any comfort beyond words. Only Jehovah God can do with words all the things we can’t so please be encouraged and comforted by this promise by God in John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3,4. For when these things come to pass no one will ever say again “I am sick” (Isaiah 33:24). Best of wishes to you all.
I have cried everyday since my girlfriend has been gone I can be in my car, at work, at home she comes across my mine the tears just start flowing . I love you girlfriend, you know I love me some you, I have always acted a fool when it came to you and oddly on the last day I saw you I felt the need to protect you . I might can’t call area code 816-xxx-xxxx to talk to you but I can call my Heavenly Father to tell him put girlfriend on the phone . I can hear you now “girlfriend what you done, done now “? Jeremy and Guy she will never leave us she loved us to much to leave us .
