I want to say that he was a kind hearted man. But hard headed to. The streets of Northeast KC No was his home. He loved his family and was my dads best friend. He was married to my sister had a daughter who he adored and was so proud of. I have know him over 20 years and he’s gonna be missed but he’s up there with my dad playing the slot machines. RIP David you are finally free.
RIP David. You will be missed
I wish I would have got to see him one last time. It was a privilege to work with him at the Bessie House for all those years and he was one guy I could always trust and count on. God Bless David and his family and friends. RIP
Your friends at Never Alone will miss you. Our hearts were broken when we heard of your passing. Your smile and kind hearted ways will live on in our memories of you. Rest In Peace ??
You will certainly be missed by all of us here at Cherith Brook. You were a bright, consistent spot here. Your presence was calm and peaceful. You were always ready to drop what you were doing and help. We are better for knowing you Crazy Dave! Thank you for your presence with us all these years and for your welcome of each person who walked through our doors! You will be missed! Cherith Brook Catholic Worker, Northeast Kansas City
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
all filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn’t get to say.
I know how much you care for me,
As much as I care for you,
and each time that you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too.
But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I’d have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.
