David Conchola, Jr

David (Chap) Conchola, Jr., 71 of Kansas City died Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 25, at the Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. Mass will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, 8941 James A Reed Road, in Kansas City, MO. Burial directly following mass at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO. Chap was born on July 27, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to David S. Conchola, Sr. and Frances Martinez Conchola. Chap attended DeLaSalle High School and served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1966 – 1968. He worked as a master carpenter, coached 3 & 2 little league baseball for over 20 years. His hobbies included Texas Holdem Poker, and playing bocce ball at Sons of Columbus Hall. In addition to his parents, Chap was preceded in death by his brother Alex Conchola, sister Carol Hernandez, and brother-in-law Albert Gonzales. He is survived by wife Debbie Henry Conchola and her children Michelle Brown (Jon) and Jennifer Hughs (Bob). Children with former wife Vickie Vallejo Conchola; Deborah St. Cyr (Don), David James Conchola (Angie), Tina Hernandez (Jesse), and Vince Conchola (Andrea). Brother Ernie Conchola, sisters Mary Garcia (Tom), Liz Gonzales, Anna Harvey (Ken), Helen Charney (Jeff), Trish Montano (Julian), sister-in-law Tina Conchola, and brother-in-law Andy Hernandez. Grandchildren Ashley, Logan, Leah, Lindsay, Jay, Rissa, Jordan, Alex, Ala, Austin, Alexis, Acelynn, Aiden, Dylan, Aubrey, Owen, and Evan.

Praise God for all the beautiful memories you have to reflect on.     David coached both of our sons David and Benjamin and a City championship with the McDonald’s team at 3&2. Was good with his players and a great coach of the fundamentals of baseball and love for the game . Going through the signs when coaching 3rd base was something to see. A good man who will be missed.

    Hi I’m Kathy Aguilar Feb.3 1988 I am deeply sorry about our relative passing away. I noticed a lot of my relatives been passing away i am very upset hopefully I get to meet his grandchildren since I didn’t get to meet him. MAY GOD AND THE ANCESTORS BE WITH HIM.GOD BLESS.
