David Eugene Parker

David Eugene Parker, 66, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 10th, 2020 at Research Hospital in Kansas City. David was born November 3rd, 1953 to Frances Parker and Charles Parker.

David is survived by his children: Misty Dove (Independence, Mo); Brett Dove (Olathe, KS); and Ryan Parker (La Veta, Colorado); and grandchildren: Ashli Green, Ava Brown and Hayden Dove (Independence, MO); and Kylee Dove and Brodie Dove (Raytown, MO). David is also survived by his brother, Russell Parker and wife, Sharon (Raytown, MO); his sister, Sharon & husband, Bill Jegen (Sunrise Beach, MO); and sister, Emily Buck (Independence, MO). David’s mother, Frances Parker, his father, Charles Parker and sister, Debbie Sprinkles, preceded him in death. David is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

David graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1972.  He worked as a dairy manager for Cosentino’s Apple Market until he retired in November 2019. David was loved by many friends and coworkers, and his neighbors, who he considered family. David enjoyed being outdoors; swimming; barbecuing; attending NASCAR races; watching football and baseball; and spending time with family and friends. David loved riding motorcycles when he was young. His favorite sports teams were the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. He didn’t know a stranger! David was one of a kind and will be truly missed.

    My heart goes out to yu’ll left behind, Emily, Sharon, & Russill thats ? the hard part but, remembering that yur brother is in good hands with the Lord & these photos are great memories that can never be Erased and yur hearts will heal! So sorry for yur loss.
