David M Kunzweiler 69 Independence Mo passed away Friday April 5th at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis C Kunzweiler and Elizabeth B Kunzweiler (Branscum) and a sister Patricia Kunzweiler. He is survived by his sisters Dorlis Lyle of Green Ridge Mo and Deanna Kunzweiler of Independence Mo as well as his brother Louis E Kunzweiler of Independence MO and many nieces and nephews.
David was a graduate of Raytown High School, a US Marine and Vietnam Veteran. He worked for Sports Associated in charge of security and was an avid fisherman.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 9 at 10 am at the Heartland Funeral Home in Raytown MO with services at 11 am followed by graveside services at Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City Mo.

I met David the first day of 7th grade at Raytown Middle school 1962. We soon became friends and stayed friends for 56 years. David was a great man, he loved and served his country, he loved his family, he stood by his friends and was always there for you, through thick and thin. His word was his bond. He will be sorely missed but not forgotten as he will live in our hearts forever. Thank you for touching our lives, Rest In Peace Brother
