David Alvin Schondelmeyer
David Alvin Schondelmeyer, 53, of Hughesville, died Friday, November 16,
2007, at University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born November 22, 1953, in Sedalia, a son of John Frederick and Ruby
Elizabeth Karrick Schondelmeyer.
Surviving are one daughter, Kara Keri Schondelmeyer of Tucson, Arizona;
three sons, John-David Alvin Schondelmeyer of Whiteman AFB, Dustin Arthur
Schondelmeyer of Sedalia, and Kristopher Daniel Schondelmeyer of St. Louis;
two brothers, John R. Schondelmeyer, and his wife, Sharon, of Bellevue,
Nebraska, Stephen W. Schondelmeyer, and his wife, Connie, of St. Paul,
Minnesota; a sister, Merilou J. Staubus, and her husband, Kent, of Sioux
Falls, South Dakota; and several nieces and nephews.
David was a self-proclaimed farmer. He was a beloved son, brother and
father. He enjoyed horses, genetics, art, and personal academic research.
He will be missed.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007, at Broadway
Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Larry Wheeler officiating.
My heart goes out to all of you on the loss of David. No one deserves to die this way.. I hope all of you will have memories that will keep him in your hearts during this sad time.I had dinner with him on some of my trips to Sedalia and found him a joy to be with, age improved him! God bless all of you..
