David W. Childers, 78, of Independence, MO passed away November 18, 2023.
David “Butch” worked at Armco Steel for 20+ years. He retired from GM Fairfax in 2007 after 21 years. He was also an electrician.
He was preceded in death by: parents, David and Irene Childers; sisters: Edith, Betty, Peggy, Phyllis, and Carol.
Survivors include: wife, Doris; daughters, Cindy (John) Garcia, Karen (Brad) Vogel; son, David Childers; sister, JoAnn Ginson; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
