Dawn W. Reed

Dawn W. Reed , 61, passed away Wednesday October 15th at her home surrounded by her family.  Dawn was born April 15, 1953 in Pensacola, FL to Steve and Marguerite Reed.  She was raised by her parents Ralph and Darlene Bieri in Boonville, MO.  Dawn graduated from Boonville High School in 1971.  She was married to Mike Overstreet.  Dawn excelled at writing poetry, some of which she won awards for.  She enjoyed gardening, flea markets, antiques, and crafts.  She was also a lover of animals and was known to frequently adopt abandoned dogs.  She is survived by a son Lance (Stephanie) Overstreet of Hannibal, MO and a daughter Tobie (Jamie) LeGrant of Boonville, MO.  Brothers Billy (Diane) Reed of Georgia, Bryan (Andrea) Bieri of Kansas City, MO, sisters Pat Frommer of Georgia, Kathy (Jim) Hoelscher of Holts Summit, MO, Carol (Gary) Nauman of Boonville, MO, grandson Dalton Overstreet, granddaughters Jordan Overstreet and Hannah LeGrant, close personal friend Randy Thornton of Stover, MO as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Darlene Bieri and sister Terri Bieri.  There will be private graveside services for immediate family only, followed by a Celebration of Life open to all family and friends at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville, Mo onSaturday November 8th at 2 pm.  A meal will be provided.  The family suggests memorial gifts to Hospice Compassus of Osage Beach, Mo or S.T.A.F.F. Animal Rescue of Laurie, MO.
