Dean Williams

Elmer Williams, 84, Independence, Missouri, passed away November 14, 2020.

Dean was a great man who loved his children and family. He worked for Ford Motor Company for most of his career but he was a jack of all trades and a master of none. He loved the life long family tradition of fly fishing at Bennett Springs, he also enjoyed racing and loved his Kansas City Chiefs.

He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene of 50 plus years and his son Chris 53 of Lebanon Missouri and his parents Elmer and Elsie both of Independence Missouri.

He was survived by his daughters Deana Williams of Garden City Missouri, Marcy Gulledge of Independence Missouri and his son Terry Rose of Springfield Missouri.  His sister Marie Tennis of Independence and brother Ronnie Williams of Leavenworth Kansas.   Dean had 8 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date at Bennett Springs.
